Learn
8 basic rhythms and how to expand these by layering and
looping them into a song format. Based on African, Brazilian,
and Latin American rhythms the lessons are easily transferrable
to any hand drum - djembe, doumbek, bongos, or congas
- to name a few. In the section on layering, the two rhythms
are easily isolated from each other by panning left or
right on your stereo. Following the lessons, is a longer,
3 minute version of each of the 8 rhythms for extended
play-along. A bonus mini-song is also included that highlights
some of the rhythms taught. An easy-to-read chart with
counting, hand position and word games is included. |
