--drive to Texas Creek campground at Christina Lake and park in day parking area . Ride up an old rode through a yellow gate . Follow on the old road until a right switchback , the trail starts straight off the switchback .

--Deer Point is out approx. 6 km . Troy Creek is approx. 11 km out . After Deer Point the trail becomes narrower and a little more technical .

--as the trail descends a steep hill towards the lake , it will cross PRIVATE PROPERTY so be kool , follow the orange markers and stay on the trail .

--when you arrive at the flats , there is a road to the right , this turns into another trail which continues for about another 9 km up Sandner Creek .
