Pass Creek/Noisy Creek--time-3-4 hours , rating-moderate , requires a shuttle

Located in the Sullivan Lake Ranger District,

Metaline Falls , Washington

-leave a vehicle at Noisy Creek Campground on the south end of Sullivan Lake.Also a great place to camp.

-from Sullivan Lake , proceed east on Road #22 for 6 miles , then turn right onto Pass Creek Pass Road , go for about 8 miles to the pass.The trail leaves the road on the right about .2 from the pass.Limited parking at the pass.

-the trail begins at 5350 feet and climbs gradually through wooded areas and passes through beargrass meadows near the top of ridges.

-follow the trail until a junction #533 and #503

-take trail #503 about 1.2 miles further and view some spectacular meadows and return to junction.

-take the left on returning ,trail # 533 . This section of trail becomes a little more difficult from here to the Hall Mountain Trail junction.

-the next junction is Noisy Creek Trail # 588 and Hall Mountain Trail # 540

-follow trail #540 to the top of Hall Mountain.Here you will be treated to 360 degree views and perhaps a herd of Rocky Mountain Bighorns.

-return to junction

-at the junction of trail #540 and trail #588 ,take trail #588 to Noisy Creek Campground .

-the downhill starts at the top of Hall Mountain 6326 feet and ends at Noisy Creek Campground 2600 feet.
