- Prints are blurry
- the prints were not perpendicular to the sun

- not enough ink on the dark areas of the negative
- exposed for too long
- not rinsed and the print continues to turn blue
- Print very pale
- not enough bright light
- exposure time too short

Washing And Care Instructions
Cyanoprints are photographs on fabric and can be washed many times as long as you use the correct cleaner. Use only mild, non-phosphate, liquid hand, dish or laundry soaps. Avoid powdered products; they will turn the blue to yellow. Check your product labels and do not use products that contain any of the following ingredients: tri-sodium phosphate (TSP), sodium silicates, washing soda, borax, chlorine, calcium hydroxide (bleach) or hydrogen peroxide. Powdered biodegradable soaps are NOT recommended. If you wish to have something dry cleaned, make sure the cleaner tests swatches using his process. Hand washing is recommended.
